Job Purpose:
To lead design packages, mentor junior team members, and serve as a Group Leader in smart buildings / cities projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of smart building / city strategy throughout design stages.
- Engage clients to define technology outcomes and develop smart enablement strategies.
- Oversee system architecture, integration planning, and interface documentation.
- Conduct technology validation reviews and evaluate submittals for compliance.
- Support commissioning strategy and post-occupancy testing of smart systems.
- Ensure design quality, consistency, and alignment with evolving digital trends.
- Collaborate across disciplines to resolve coordination issues and ensure digital readiness.
- Contribute to R&D and develop internal tools/templates to standardize delivery.
- Update Master Technical Documents (BOQ’s, MOM and specs sections).
- Mentor junior engineers on tools, standards, and workflows.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/ICT/Building Services Engineering; Master’s is an advantage.
- Significant experience in smart system consulting, design, or integration.
- In-depth knowledge of smart tech standards, system integration, and platform architecture.
