ِِAs part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an experienced Planning & Production Engineer to join our team and manage production planning and scheduling activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, smooth production flow, and timely achievement of production targets and delivery requirements
Main Duties & Responsalities
· Develop, maintain, and optimize comprehensive master production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and plant capacity.
· Conduct detailed workload analyses to balance production demands with available machinery, labor, and material resources, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
· Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to analyze historical trends, market demand, and upcoming orders to project future manufacturing needs.
· Oversee MRP systems to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components, minimizing stockouts while avoiding excess inventory holding costs.
· Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies to reduce lead times and operational waste.
· Serve as the primary liaison between production, procurement, quality control, warehouse and sales.
· Monitor key performance indicators such as schedule adherence, and cycle times, delivering actionable reports to executive management.
· Anticipate supply chain disruptions, equipment failures, or demand surges, establishing robust backup plans and alternative routing to maintain continuity.
· Partner with engineering and R&D teams to integrate new products into the existing production workflow smoothly.
· Provide technical guidance, training, and leadership to junior planning engineers and production staff to elevate team performance standards
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
· 2–4 years of relevant experience in production planning, production control, manufacturing, or a similar role.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with production data, schedules, capacity, and performance indicators.
· Good command of Microsoft Excel and preferably experience with ERP/MRP systems.
· Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
· Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
· Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop-floor operations
