We’re Hiring | Continuous Improvement / Industrial Engineer – Printing & Packaging Manufacturing
Al Noor Packaging Solutions is looking for an experienced Industrial / Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Mubas, Amman.
This is a hands-on, factory-floor role focused initially on designing and implementing a more efficient system for managing paper, carton, and production scrap across our printing and packaging operations.
Main Responsibilities
• Study where and how waste is generated across production.
• Measure waste volumes, movement, accumulation, manpower, and space usage.
• Design and implement an efficient material-flow and waste-handling system.
• Improve collection, transportation, segregation, compaction/baling, and storage of paper and carton scrap.
• Reduce forklift movement, manual handling, congestion, and production interruptions caused by waste.
• Improve factory layout, housekeeping, and 5S practices.
• Recommend suitable equipment or automation where economically justified.
• Establish procedures and KPIs for ongoing waste handling.
• Support additional continuous-improvement projects across production after completing the initial waste-management project.
What We’re Looking For
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, process improvement, material flow, factory layout, and material handling.
• Experience in printing, packaging, corrugated, paper, FMCG, or other high-volume manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Practical factory-floor experience is more important than purely theoretical or academic experience.
Important
This position requires daily on-site presence in the production area and active involvement on the factory floor.
Purely office-based or academic profiles without practical manufacturing experience will not be considered.
