We’re Hiring: Assistant Restaurant Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for its new branch opening at The Boulevard.
The successful candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and will assume full responsibility for the restaurant in the Restaurant Manager’s absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations during assigned shifts.
- Monitor food preparation, service quality, cleanliness, and speed.
- Conduct shift briefings and ensure completion of operational checklists.
- Manage employee station assignments, breaks, and shift rotations.
- Coach team members and support training and onboarding.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, food waste, and stock usage.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, storage, labeling, and FIFO standards.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate operational issues when required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of restaurant or QSR experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or management position.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, shift-management, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, cost control, inventory, and POS systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Location: The Boulevard, Amman, Jordan.
