Junior Accounting Intern
Responsibilities
- Together with colleagues you will work on projects
- Maintain accounting documentation, including payment vouchers, reports, contracts, invoices, and other financial records in a timely, accurate, and organized manner.
- Support daily accounting activities and month-end closing processes, including accounts payable, inventory accounting, and related reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and verification of financial records and supporting documents.
- Collaborate with different finance functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial reporting.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to maintain smooth financial operations.
- Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies before processing.
- Record supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system while adhering to internal controls and financial procedures.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management to ensure proper record retention.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
