Production Supervisor – Job Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Chemical Engineering, Dairy Technology, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, such as Production Supervisor,
Shift Supervisor, Production Engineer, or a comparable manufacturing position.
• Prior experience in the dairy, processed cheese, UHT, or broader food processing
industry is highly desirable.
Technical Competencies
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, production operations, and
manufacturing best practices.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), HACCP, ISO
22000, and FSSC 22000.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and production
performance reporting.
• Ability to monitor and analyze key production performance indicators, including
efficiency, productivity, downtime, waste, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and continuous improvement
methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications,
particularly Excel.
Leadership & People Management
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and motivate production teams across multiple
shifts.
• Strong workforce planning, manpower allocation, and team management capabilities.
• Proven ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure while ensuring
production targets, quality, and safety standards are achieved.
• Experience in conducting shift handover meetings, coaching team members, managing
performance, and fostering employee engagement.

- internationally recognized food safety standards.
