Master Electronics is looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support and manage our Linux and Windows server environments, VMware infrastructure, AWS resources, backups, and identity management systems
In this role, you’ll help ensure our systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and operating efficiently across both on-premises and cloud environments
What you’ll do
- Manage and support Linux and Windows server environments
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Entra/O365 services
- Support VMware infrastructure and backup/disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate with Cloud Operations on AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, and AWS Systems Manager
- Develop scripts and automation workflows using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support security best practices
What we’re looking for
- Experience in systems administration across Linux, Windows Server, VMware, AWS, backups, Entra, scripting, and automation
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with AWS Systems Manager and Infrastructure as Code tools is a plus
- Certifications such as RHCE, MCSA/MCSE, VCP, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
