Role: Arabic QA tester

Job Summary:
The Arabic QA tester to perform linguistic and localization quality testing for Arabic content across platforms and applications. The role involves reviewing translations, identifying language and functional issues, validating fixes, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate should have strong Arabic and English proficiency with experience in QA testing, translation review, and localization processes reporting.

Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in Manual QA/Software Testing
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, or UAT testing.
- Strong proficiency in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
- Arabic native speaker and fluent in English.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Good to have exp in translation tools (CAT tools) and linguistic QA tools is preferred.
- Good to have exp in Linguistic Quality Assessment (LQA) frameworks and standards.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, test execution, defect reporting, and QA processes.
- Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience working with bug-tracking and QA management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing of web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and functional requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Validate Arabic language content within the application for accuracy, readability, formatting, and overall user experience.
- Experience in Arabic localization or linguistic QA is an advantage but is not a mandatory requirement. Candidates with strong QA testing experience and Arabic language proficiency are encouraged to apply.
