Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Product team in Amman.
This role combines the responsibilities of both a Product Manager and a Product Owner. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product roadmap, gathering and prioritizing business requirements, owning the product backlog, driving Agile delivery, and ensuring high-quality product releases across iDoc’s digital healthcare ecosystem.
You will work closely with Engineering, UI/UX, QA, Medical, Regulatory, Operations, and Executive Management to translate business objectives into successful products while ensuring efficient execution from concept through release.
This position requires strong hands-on professional experience as both a Product Manager and a Product Owner. Candidates who do not have practical experience performing both roles will not be considered. Immediate availability to join is a key requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, own, and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Own and manage the product backlog across iDoc’s products and digital healthcare platforms.
- Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business, operational, medical, regulatory, technical, and user requirements.
- Translate product strategy into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), epics, user stories, workflows, and detailed acceptance criteria.
- Lead product discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and release planning.
- Drive Agile product delivery to ensure features are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, UI/UX, Medical, Regulatory, Operations, and Executive Management throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to define user journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and overall product experience.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release readiness, feature validation, and production releases.
- Ensure product quality by working closely with QA and Engineering teams to resolve issues before release.
- Maintain product roadmaps, feature trackers, documentation, release notes, and delivery status using Jira or similar tools.
- Monitor product KPIs, user feedback, feature adoption, system performance, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify new product opportunities and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities.
- Prepare executive product reports, roadmap presentations, sprint reviews, product demonstrations, and management updates.
- Mentor junior Product Owners and contribute to improving product management processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10+ years of professional experience in Product Management.
- Mandatory: Proven hands-on experience performing both Product Manager and Product Owner responsibilities.
- Strong experience defining product vision, product strategy, and product roadmaps.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs, sprint planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and Agile product delivery.
- Strong experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), epics, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong experience working with Engineering, QA, UI/UX, Product Design, and cross-functional business teams.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release management, and product launches.
- Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong experience with Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple products, priorities, stakeholders, and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Nice to Have
- Experience in Healthcare, Telemedicine, HealthTech, FinTech, ERP, or other regulated industries.
- Experience building AI-powered digital products.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping.
- Experience with product analytics, KPIs, experimentation, and data-driven product decisions.
- Scrum Product Owner (CSPO or PSPO), Agile, PMP, or Product Management certifications.
