Role Description
The Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, supporting the daily operations of Kayan Law. Responsibilities include managing phone calls and reception duties, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. The role involves organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with scheduling meetings and appointments. The Office Assistant will operate office equipment, prepare documents and forms, and provide general administrative and clerical support to ensure a well-organized and efficient office environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to support daily office operations and document handling.
- Excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for managing calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to use and maintain Office Equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and telecommunication systems.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and comfort with electronic filing systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Previous experience in an office, administrative, or receptionist role is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Amman and collaborate effectively with legal and administrative teams.
