Role Description The Horeca Sales Representative at UNIVERSAL MODERN INDUSTRIES CO for Edible Oil (UMIC) is a full-time, on-site role based in Zarqa. The role focuses on selling edible oil products to hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering companies, building strong relationships with existing and potential Horeca clients. Day-to-day tasks include visiting customers, presenting product portfolios, negotiating prices and contracts, and processing orders in coordination with the sales and logistics teams. The Horeca Sales Representative monitors market trends and competitor activities, prepares regular sales reports, and follows up on payments to ensure smooth account management. This role also involves participating in promotional activities, product demonstrations, and customer training to support brand visibility and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Horeca or B2B sales, preferably in food or edible oil products, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build long-term partnerships and provide responsive, solution-oriented service.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present products clearly, handle objections, and close deals effectively.
- Good organizational and planning abilities, including route planning, territory management, and accurate documentation of sales activities.
- Basic knowledge of the food service industry, kitchen operations, and quality standards relevant to Horeca clients.
- Comfort with using sales tools and office software (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, presentation tools) to track opportunities and prepare reports.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needs and market conditions.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Zarqa and surrounding areas as required.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Professional fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
