Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Python Web Developer role based in Amman. The Junior Python Web Developer will support the development and maintenance of web applications that enhance AJi’s digital platforms and internal tools. Day-to-day tasks include implementing back-end features using Python frameworks, assisting with front-end components in collaboration with designers, and integrating APIs and databases. The role involves debugging issues, writing clean and testable code, participating in code reviews, and documenting technical specifications. The developer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, including 2+ experience with Python and common web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design, such as basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in general Web Development, including understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and database integration (SQL or NoSQL).
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or DevOps concepts is a plus.
