We are looking for an experienced Technical Team Lead to lead our software development team and drive the successful delivery of enterprise-grade digital solutions across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf region.
This role requires a strong technical leader who combines hands-on development expertise with team leadership, project delivery ownership, architecture oversight, and client engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software development teams across multiple projects.
- Take full ownership of project delivery, including planning, execution, quality assurance, and deployment.
- Define and enforce software engineering standards, coding practices, documentation standards, and development processes.
- Review software architecture, technical designs, and code quality to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, project managers, designers, and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve technical challenges, and ensure successful delivery.
- Manage development activities through Jira, including sprint planning, task management, reporting, and team accountability.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered development practices and modern engineering methodologies.
- Participate in technical recruitment, candidate evaluations, onboarding, and team development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on project health, team performance, delivery status, and resource planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Laravel, PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and modern web application development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, design patterns, and enterprise application development.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment automation.
- Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, scalability, and system integrations.
- Experience conducting code reviews and establishing development best practices.
- Experience using Jira or similar project management platforms.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering enterprise portals, healthcare solutions, government platforms, financial systems, or large-scale digital projects.
- Experience working with bilingual Arabic and English platforms.
- Knowledge of Cloudflare, cybersecurity best practices, and enterprise hosting environments.
- Experience leading distributed teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
