At Fekra AI, we are pushing the boundaries of automation and intelligent workflows. We’re looking for a sharp, problem-solving Mid-Level Backend Developer who thrives on building reliable, distributed systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Core Backend & APIs: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable REST APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Automation & Web Scraping: Build advanced browser automation, web scraping, and portal integration pipelines using Playwright or Selenium.
- Data & OCR Processing: Work with structured/unstructured data (PDFs, JSON, CSVs) and integrate cutting-edge OCR technologies like Tesseract, AWS Textract, or Google Vision API.
- Distributed Architecture: Own service-to-service communication, background workers, and async flows using message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery, or Redis).
- Database & Performance: Optimize and manage robust database schemas, indexing, and queries in PostgreSQL.
What We’re Looking For:
- Python Pro: Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, automation, and API integrations.
- Architecture Mindset: Good understanding of microservices, eventual consistency, retries, dead-letter queues, and idempotency.
- Security & DevOps Basics: Familiarity with API security, Docker, Linux environments, and production logging/monitoring.
- Clean Code Champion: A track record of writing clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code using standard Git workflows.
- Problem Solver: Someone who excels at debugging distributed workflows, handling OCR edge cases, and mitigating API failures.
