Telescope Medical Center is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated professional with strong financial expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee accounting operations with accuracy and efficiency. Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and statutory obligations
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders when required
- Develop and implement accounting controls, procedures, and best practices
- Support management with financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in accounting, with strong background in financial reporting and accounting operations
- Prior experience in a Chief Accountant or senior accounting role is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare / medical sector is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial controls
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
