Job Summary:
Senior Procurement Officer responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, purchase order management, and procurement compliance. Ensures cost efficiency, supplier performance, timely delivery, and quality standards while supporting cross-functional teams and maintaining continuous improvement of procurement operations.
Technical Duties:
- Prepare comparison sheet for the CAPEX purchases based on our URS.
- Arrange for the CAPEX Executive Committee meeting.
- Create and review SOPs and policies.
- Distributes the tasks to non-trade team.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier’s performance such as lead time, quality, compliance and after sales serves.
- Provide multiple quotations from multiple sources whenever applicable and negotiate requisition terms, prices, payment, warranties, service agreements and contracts to secure favorable commercial terms which best suit the needs.
- Work with engineering/maintenance to define technical specifications, acceptance criteria, installation requirements, and spare-part lists for machinery.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, follow up on order status, expedite deliveries when needed, and manage order changes.
- Verify the shipping documents against the purchase order for matching goods, quantities, amounts and other orders terms.
- Collaborate effectively with the end users as a point of contact with suppliers and manage incoming inspection and non-conformance escalation with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement and contract records, manage warranty claims, and post-purchase service interactions.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policy.
- Keep looking for alternative solution and identify the risk areas to act proactively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
