Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources & Administrative Coordinator at Fame Restaurant, located in Amman. The role involves overseeing daily HR and administrative operations, supporting recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring staff compliance with company policies and operational standards.
The position also includes administrative coordination, employee follow-up, attendance monitoring, and operational inspections across restaurant departments to support smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and employee files
• Monitoring attendance, schedules, lateness, and staff compliance
• Following up on uniforms, hygiene, grooming, and operational standards
• Coordinating employee documents, contracts, health certificates, and government-related paperwork
• Conducting daily operational follow-ups and reporting issues to management
• Following up on departmental checklists and internal procedures
• Assisting with staff training coordination and employee relations
• Supporting disciplinary procedures, warning letters, and HR documentation
• Coordinating messenger and administrative tasks when required
• Maintaining organized HR records and operational reports
• Supporting management with operational and administrative follow-up tasks
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Experience in HR, administration, or operations coordination is preferred
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR procedures is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office systems
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant operations is beneficial
• Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and English
