We are looking for a Reservations & Distribution Supervisor / Senior Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of the reservations department while maximizing hotel occupancy and revenue across all distribution channels.
The ideal candidate will ensure excellent guest service, maintain accurate inventory across all online platforms, and lead the reservations team to achieve high operational and revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle reservation enquiries received through all available channels.
- Supervise the reservations team and manage day-to-day operations.
- Maximize occupancy levels by reviewing and revising revenue strategies.
- Manage room inventory and perform rate loading across PMS, Channel Managers, and OTA extranets.
- Ensure all OTA websites display accurate information and correct pricing at all times.
- Monitor distribution channels to ensure pricing and restrictions are correctly implemented.
- Track no-show reservations and process charges when required.
- Monitor same-day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control occupancy.
- Manage waitlists and prioritize guest contact accordingly.
- Handle guest complaints, disputes, and sales channel inquiries.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering conversion, occupancy, and availability.
- Verify room availability and explain rate policies, guarantees, and cancellation policies to guests.
- Develop team members and maintain high standards of customer service and relationship building.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or revenue-related roles, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Previous supervisory experience in reservations or front office operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, and OTA extranets such as Booking.com and Expedia.
- Experience in rate loading, inventory management, and distribution channel management.
- Understanding of revenue management principles and RevPAR optimization.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to supervise and guide team members while maintaining high service standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze reports, occupancy data, and reservation trends to support operational decisions.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
