Job Description & Summary
As a
Sr. Demand and Supply Planner, you will be responsible for managing demand planning, inventory optimization, and supplier coordination to ensure seamless operations across all locations. This role is designed for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can balance operational efficiency with commercial needs, ensuring the right products are available at the right time to support sales and service performance.
You will play a critical role in maintaining supply chain continuity, minimizing delays, and enhancing overall inventory accuracy while working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing supply planning and forecasting activities to maintain optimal stock levels across all locations.
- Coordinating with suppliers on order placement, specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Monitoring inventory levels on a daily basis to ensure alignment with business targets.
- Following up on shipments from order placement through to arrival and stock availability.
- Ensuring compliance with shipping, receiving, and inspection procedures.
- Handling customs documentation and coordinating with clearing agents for timely release of shipments.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock in transit and on hand.
- Preparing costing sheets for new shipments and updating pricing periodically.
- Updating ERP systems with all inventory movements, including ordered, shipped, received, and sold units.
- Coordinating with sales, retail, and fleet teams to fulfill ordering requirements.
- Managing claims related to damaged or missing items.
- Conducting monthly stock counts and ensuring inventory accuracy across all locations.
- Performing market analysis to support competitive pricing and product positioning.
- Preparing regular reports on inventory, shipments, and sales performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
- CSCP certification is an advantage.
Comprehensive Knowledge Of
- Fluent English and Arabic – written and spoken.
- Inventory management techniques and supply chain operations.
- Demand forecasting and procurement planning.
- ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Logistics, distribution, and shipping processes.
- Basic understanding of market dynamics and pricing strategies.
