We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our Jordan Service Department, reporting into the Service Manager – Jordan. This is an excellent opportunity for junior engineers or recent graduates who are keen to build a long‑term career in field service engineering within a technically advanced, customer‑focused environment.
About the Role
The Junior Field Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of X‑ray screening and Trace detection systems across the Jordan region. The role requires strong problem‑solving skills, a hands‑on technical approach, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of X‑ray and Trace systems
• Conduct site surveys prior to installations and prepare supporting reports
• Diagnose system faults and carry out failure analysis
• Provide customer technical support as required
• Complete service reports, incident reports, and maintenance documentation
• Carry out planned and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
• Undertake any other duties as required by management
Skills, Experience & Attributes
• 2–4 years’ experience in a field service or technical environment (preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with electronic or electro‑mechanical equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• Flexible and able to work non‑standard hours if required
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Medical Engineering
• Good understanding of mechanical and electronic systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• IT literate, with experience using MS Office
