Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman, Jordan for a Quality Control Supervisor. The role involves overseeing quality control processes, implementing quality assurance standards, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with industry or organizational standards, and guiding teams to meet production benchmarks. The Quality Control Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory practices and ensuring equipment and procedures align with safety and efficiency protocols.
Role Overview
As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will ensure that every product leaving our facility meets strict standards in taste, texture, appearance, and safety.
- This is a hands-on, floor-based role, working closely with production teams to maintain discipline, consistency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibility
- Monitor daily production and inspect all batches of bread and baked goods
- Ensure strict adherence to recipes, processes, and portion standards
- Conduct quality checks on texture, color, taste, and consistency
- Enforce food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP principles)
- Maintain QC logs, reports, and rejection records
- Inspect products before dispatch to ensure accuracy and quality
- Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions
- Train and guide staff on quality and hygiene standards
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in quality control within a bakery or food production environment
- Strong understanding of baking processes and product characteristics
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong personality with the ability to enforce standards on the floor
