VRS is partnering with a client to hire a Software Engineer. This role suits someone with solid backend experience who wants to work on real products with impact.
Location: Amman, Jordan / Beirut, Lebanon
What you’ll do:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Engineer based in Amman or Beirut. You will develop Java-based web applications, build backend components, and ensure strong performance and stability. You will work closely with QA and product teams, analyze client requirements, and deliver clean, scalable solutions. The role also includes writing technical documentation, supporting releases, and staying current with modern technologies.
What we’re looking for:
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with MVC and MVVM patterns (Spring and Hibernate)
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL (Oracle is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Good communication skills
• Strong English communication skills
