About the Role
Line Two is supporting a confidential, reputable bank in Amman to hire a Compliance Officer (AML/KYC). The role supports day-to-day compliance operations across AML/CTF controls, KYC/CDD reviews, screening, and compliance monitoring to ensure files are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the bank’s compliance activities across AML/CTF and regulatory compliance processes.
- Conduct KYC/CDD reviews for onboarding and periodic reviews; validate customer documentation and data quality.
- Support screening (sanctions/PEP/adverse media) and assist with match resolution under defined procedures.
- Identify red flags and support escalation for EDD and higher-risk customers when required.
- Maintain clear documentation, trackers, and audit trails in line with internal standards.
- Support compliance monitoring and QA checks; document findings and follow up on remediation actions.
- Assist with preparing compliance reporting/MI (volumes, SLAs, exceptions, trends).
- Coordinate with business and operations teams to close documentation gaps and meet turnaround times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field.
- 1–4 years experience in compliance, AML, KYC/CDD, or related banking operations roles.
- Understanding of AML basics (risk-based approach, KYC/CDD, red flags, documentation standards).
- Strong attention to detail and professional writing skills.
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable working with SLAs and case trackers.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Exposure to EDD, transaction monitoring, or investigations support.
- Certifications (or in progress): CAMS / ICA / CFE.
- Experience with screening/monitoring tools (any platform).
