Job Purpose
To provide primary medical care and initial assessment for patients suffering from musculoskeletal, back, and joint pain, with a clinical interest in orthopedics. The role focuses on accurate diagnosis, non-surgical management, patient education, and coordination with orthopedic specialists to ensure comprehensive and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive clinical examinations and initial assessments for patients with bone, joint, and spinal complaints.
Request and interpret basic medical imaging and laboratory tests under supervision when needed.
Develop preliminary treatment plans for mild to moderate musculoskeletal conditions.
Refer complex or surgical cases to the Orthopedic Specialist when required.
Support the implementation of non-surgical treatment plans, including rehabilitation and pain management programs.
Monitor patient progress and follow up regularly to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Educate patients on preventive measures, posture correction, lifestyle modifications, and exercise routines.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records according to healthcare regulations.
Collaborate closely with physiotherapists and orthopedic specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
Medical / Technical Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD).
Valid license to practice Medicine issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Health.
Basic knowledge of non-surgical pain management and rehabilitation principles.
Willingness to pursue further training or specialization in Orthopedics.

Excellent patient communication and clinical interviewing skills.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize cases requiring specialist referral.
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
High level of empathy and patient-centered care approach.
