About The Role
We are seeking a
Social Media Officer to join our Marketing/Communications team. The role is responsible for managing and enhancing the organization’s digital presence across social media platforms. The Social Media Officer works closely with internal teams to deliver engaging content, strengthen brand visibility, and support overall marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across all relevant social media platforms in alignment with brand objectives.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to produce high-quality visual content for posts, reels, and stories.
- Manage monthly content calendars and publishing schedules to ensure consistency and organization.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using Meta Insights and other analytics tools to inform content strategy.
- Generate creative ideas for short-form and interactive content to boost engagement.
- Manage day-to-day community interactions by responding to comments and direct messages professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistency in messaging and communication goals.
- Support the execution and monitoring of paid social media campaigns.
- Prepare regular performance summaries and reports aligned with content calendars.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Education
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Media, Multimedia, or any related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and audience engagement.
Training & Certifications
- Social media certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Content creation and moderation skills are an advantage.

Technical Competencies

- Experience or basic knowledge in Meta Ads Manager and paid campaign support.
- Strong analytical skills using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and platform dashboards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with communication tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, or Slack.
