Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Planning Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely payment processing, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bookkeeping activities including posting and reconciliation of accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare and review weekly vendor and subcontractor payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze asset, liability, and expense entries by compiling and reviewing financial data.
- Maintain and reconcile AP sub-ledgers, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and review monthly AP accruals and related journal entries.
- Prepare and review monthly prepaid and rent expense entries and supporting schedules.
- Perform monthly variance analysis and provide clear explanations to management.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and necessary clarifications.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and management reporting.
- Perform additional tasks within scope as assigned by the Performance Manager.
- Assume assigned authorities related to the role and stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
