A group Company is looking to hire a Director of Operations
The Operations Director is responsible for leading and managing all operational functions, including Home Accessories and Food & Beverage. This role ensures operational excellence, efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth. The Director oversees strategic development and execution to optimize production processes, resource utilization, and quality standards, ensuring that the operations align with the organization’s vision and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Operational Leadership
- Develops and implements the Function’s strategic operations plans across Home Accessories and F&B units.
- Translates strategic objectives into clear operational goals and manages their execution.
- Provides strategic advice to senior management, identifying operational improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and efficiency opportunities.
Operations Oversight
- Oversee daily operations across Home Accessories and Food & Beverage units, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Ensures the highest standards of service delivery, product quality, and innovation.
- Leads initiatives to enhance processes, improve productivity, and strengthen sustainability.
Production, Logistics, and Resource Management
- Directs home accessories production operations to ensure efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of products.
- Oversees food & beverage production, and catering operations, ensuring quality and timely service.
- Manages the resources (human, financial, and material) to optimize utilization and reduce costs.
- Develops and monitors stock control systems, inventory audits, and production performance metrics.
Financial and Resource Management
- Achieves and exceeds the operational financial targets through effective budget planning, resource optimization, and cost control.
- Delivers accurate, timely financial reporting and manages the unit operational expenditure responsibly.
- Leads procurement efforts ensuring cost-efficiency, transparency, and quality.
Compliance, Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance
- Ensure all unit’s operational functions meet local, national, and international regulatory standards and best practices.
- Ensures compliance with international partnership standards (Home Accessories) and HACCP standards (Food & Beverage).
- Leads audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks.
- Champions a culture of safety, quality, and compliance across unit’s operations.
Talent Management and Team Leadership
- Leads, develops, and mentors a high-performing unit’s operations team.
- Implements talent development plans, succession planning, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- BA Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or any related field.
- 15+ years proven experience in the same field.
