We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in testing methodologies, tools, and ensuring top-notch quality in software products. Join our team onsite in Amman, Jordan, and help us maintain and improve the quality of Wizardly, our cutting-edge PowerPoint add-in. You’ll work closely with our product development team to ensure our software is reliable, scalable, and efficient.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Lead Quality Assurance initiatives across both functional and non-functional testing (manual & automated).
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for Wizardly, ensuring all features meet high standards of quality and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify potential risks and help resolve issues during the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, focusing on testability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using popular tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Work on improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensure automated tests are integrated smoothly in the development process.
- Analyze and track test metrics, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining the QA process.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing practices.
- Automated Testing Expertise: Proficiency with tools like Selenium for UI testing.
- Backend Testing: Hands-on experience in testing APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) using postman.
- Performance Testing: Experience with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Bug Tracking & Version Control: Familiarity with Jira, and other collaboration tools.
- Test Automation in CI/CD: Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Experience with PowerPoint Add-ins or Office 365 products.
- Familiarity with testing in the cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Experience in security testing and understanding of ethical hacking.
