Job Purpose:
Develop and control the Training System Quality Procedures, which is designed to maintain compliance with the regulations in force at the time and to enhance the training department ability to educate and train their students to successfully pass the EASA/ CARC exams.
Responsibilities
- Liaison with the Competent Authority (EASA & CARC) on all matters relating to the Academy’s Part-147 approval when required.
- Establishing and maintaining an independent Quality system to monitor compliance with the Part-147 requirements.
- Implementing a quality audit programme in which compliance with all training procedures is reviewed at regular intervals, and any observed non-compliance(s) or poor standards are brought to the attention of the person concerned via his manager.
- Ensuring that the audit corrective actions are initiated and completed. within an agreed timescale
- Ensuring that Competent Authority is immediately notified of all major changes to the exposition (MTOE).
- Processing amendments to the (MTOE).
- Preparing the agenda, calling and recording the minutes of all meetings.
- Keeping quality records, staff qualifications, training, and experience records.
- Participate effectively in environmental protection programs (energy and water saving, water segregation...etc.) and notify for any environmental related nonconformities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical/electrical engineering or any related field.
- 3 years of experience in a quality Aviation function, preferably within an approved Maintenance Training Organization.
- Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Aviation Regulations, EASA/CARC Part-147, Part-66, Part-145, and the MTOE procedures.
- Ability to interface and obtain formal acceptance from Competent Authority (EASA & CARC).
- Ability to work independently and make compliance-driven decisions.
