Role Overview
Entry-level QA role focused on test planning, execution, and reporting across web and mobile. Works in Agile squads and reports to the QA Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run functional, regression, and smoke tests (web & mobile).
- Log clear defects with repro steps, expected vs. actual (Jira/Azure).
- Create, update, and execute test cases/specs from user stories.
- Review requirements/user stories for clarity and testability.
- Do manual API testing with Postman/Swagger.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and SDLC activities.
- Collaborate with developers, PO, and QA to ship quality releases.
- Produce readable test reports and keep test/bug status up to date.
- Use QA tools for test management and bug tracking effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1–2 years in Software QA/testing.
- Education: Bach in CS, Engineering, or related field.
- Testing basics: Strong grasp of testing types and SDLC.
- Tools: Hands-on with Jira/Aelor'szure (bug tracking/test mgmt).
- SQL: Basics for data checks and backend validation.
- Communication: Clear written/spoken English; strong teamwork.
- Analysis & detail: Solid problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Organization: Good time management and prioritization.
- Self-learning: Curious and up to date with best practices.
