Accountabilities & Key Roles:
- Conduct thorough analysis of wealth management and investment products offerings, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyzes the projects / requests requirements & prepare related documentation and gap analysis (BRDs, user stories, Process Flows, Parameters and Test cases).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine WM and investment product strategies and roadmaps.
- Apply understanding and knowledge of WM & investment products such as equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives, portfolio management, trading lifecycle, and wealth management practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the products and services under governance, by ensuring full technical understanding of the products including transformation, processes, systems and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Support the design and implementation of new WM and investment products and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to WM and investment products.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for WM and Investment products, including specifications and user guides.
- Coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of products within enterprise systems.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve product-related issues.
- Prepare well documented test cases covering all scenarios (including the negative test cases) and play a main role in planning and execution of UAT (User Acceptance testing) in collaboration with QC and Business teams.
- Track post-implementation performance and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams about WM & Investment product features and benefits.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and operations, document it within the risk register and maintain follow up.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes related to product management.
- Conduct frequent review sessions with PLC countries to identify gaps in existing processes and propose enhancements that results in ROIs.
- Prepare policies and procedures for newly implemented products, follow up with policies and procedures team to ensure releasing them on due date.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree and/or Finance Certifications such as CMA is preferable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management or analysis within the financial services or WM and Investment industry.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Proven track record in managing product lifecycles and driving product innovation.
- In-depth knowledge of payment systems, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and forward-thinking approach.
