Business Unit Description
MERC
"Middle East Resourcing Center" Business Unit is the deparmtment responsible for supporting the operations for the Consulting Line of Service. The department focuses on multiple competencies such as Resourcing, Business Development, Talent Aqusition & Recruitment, Human Capital, Communications, and Central Finance. MERC Consulting team contributes in the achievements of the consulting line of service by providing the backend support required to delivere high end results to our clients.
Line Of Service Overview
Our Consulting Business Development team supports PwC and its clients by developing sales strategies, executing tactics, and securing the resources required to close sales opportunities. As part of the team, you’ll be managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, helping the account team in identifying, qualifying and closing sales leads, and coordinating the utilisation of all account management methodology and business development tools.
Business Unit Overview
As a Senior Associate within Consulting, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

- Previous work experience within professional services or a large corporate environment.
- The ability to manage complex conflicts between numerous parties in a fast-changing environment.
- Passion for targeting and pursuing work in a competitive environment.
- Good project management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships quickly
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds
- Ability in influencing, challenging, and negotiating effectively
- Strong Excel skills (pivots / graphs / data analysis) are essential
- Proven experience of being an integral member of a high-performing and strategic in-house team or within a consulting team working on people-related client engagements across multiple industries.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Years of Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience of working in the business development sector within a consulting environment, ideally with one of the Big 4 firms, or a global strategy house, or in a challenging in-house role.
