Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive entrepreneurship programs aligned with Orange’s corporate social responsibility strategy and business objectives to empower startups.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, NGOs, and other key stakeholders to secure funding and support for entrepreneurship initiatives.
- Provide expert coaching and mentorship to entrepreneurs, guiding them through the challenges of building and scaling their ventures.
- Manage the full lifecycle of entrepreneurship projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Organize and facilitate entrepreneurship-related events, workshops, and community-building activities to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Translate complex technological concepts into accessible and actionable insights for entrepreneurs, enabling them to leverage technology for innovation.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on program performance, impact, and key learnings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for building startup capacity, focusing on critical areas such as business planning, financial management, and marketing.
- Lead the performance assessment process, analyzing key metrics and developing data-driven insights to optimize program effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.
- Champion an entrepreneurial mindset within the organization, promoting a culture of innovation, risk-taking, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage the risks and opportunities associated with entrepreneurship initiatives, ensuring that projects are aligned with Orange’s values and ethical standards.
- Drive the communication strategy for entrepreneurship initiatives, working closely with the communications team to promote the positive impact of Orange's programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in entrepreneurship, ensuring that Orange’s programs remain innovative and competitive.
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to entrepreneurship projects, ensuring that funds are used effectively and efficiently.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Economics.
- 3-5 years of experience in entrepreneurship, project management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and empower entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and make sound judgments.
- Strong donor and NGO relations management skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in technology translation and enablement, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of business principles and financial management.
- Event and community management skills, with the ability to organize and facilitate successful events and build strong communities.
