Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Accountant role based on-site at our Amman office. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee daily financial operations, including preparing financial statements, handling account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with local tax and financial regulations. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, analyzing financial data for reporting purposes, and supporting audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and account reconciliation
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and software tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to financial systems and data
- Experience in managing audits, ensuring compliance, and preparing tax filings
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the tech or data services industry is an advantage
