JOB PURPOSE:
Noatum Ports, AD Ports Group is hiring a dynamic, strategic and results-driven Finance Manager Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for the full spectrum of finance management, including budgeting, financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic support for a business of approximately 120 personnel. As part of a joint venture owned by a large corporate entity, the Finance Manager will ensure robust financial governance and drive operational efficiencies in alignment with AD Ports Group’s global standards and applicable local regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key financial performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
- Deliver timely monthly reports, accounts, and analysis, providing insights on variations and trends.
- Coordinate finance matters with local, country, and regional finance teams and management.
- Prepare Opex and Capex budgets in collaboration with all departments and business units.
- Implement initiatives and requirements from internal and external auditors.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with company processes and policies.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures for capital, operating expenses, and tax optimization.
- Support timely procurement and ensure adherence to company policies for invoice payments and accounts payable.
- Monitor debtors and cash flow, recommending remedial actions when necessary.
- Provide financial support for commercial decisions, including pricing, incentives, and discounts.
- Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and company policies, including adherence to the Code of Business Conduct.
- Drive revenue enhancement and cost control initiatives across the business.
- Lead onsite finance system implementation and train business unit staff on finance systems, accounting, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the center’s long-term financial strategy.
- Lead and manage a small finance and administration support team.
EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional certification preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree in financial management or business administration preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Arabic (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the region is highly advantageous.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Finance Management.
NATURE OF EXPERIENCE:
- Finance Management of small to medium size stand alone entity
- Ports & Shipping industry, Logistics
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Treasury, Compliance andRisk Management
- Financial Reporting & Analysis (Expert)
