Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Supply Chain Officer to manage and optimize procurement and logistics operations. You will oversee sourcing, supplier relationships, purchase order management, and coordination with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and experience in supply chain management within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, ordering, and vendor management, to meet operational needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any supply chain disruptions or delays.
- Support contract negotiations and assist in tender processes related to supply chain activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement and logistics records, including purchase orders and shipment documentation.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all supply chain operations.
- Work closely with project, sales, and technical teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines and client requirements.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles, preferably within manufacturing or technical industries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with supply chain management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to handle supply chain challenges effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits or logistics coordination.
