About the Role
The junior marketing & communications officer will support the planning and execution of social media and digital communication activities to boost the company's online presence, engage audiences, and promote key campaigns and initiatives. The role is ideal for a creative and digitally savvy individual who is passionate about content creation, community engagement, and storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing social media plans and calendars.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok).
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and support community management.
- Support the creation of visually appealing and engaging multimedia content (images, videos, stories, reels).
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce digital assets.
- Help write captions, posts, and other short-form content in line with brand voice and objectives.
- Assist in maintaining a digital content library.
- Track and report on key social media metrics (reach, engagement, growth, etc.).
- Maintain calendars and timelines for content and campaigns.
- Organize internal folders and documentation related to social media assets and performance.
- Support logistics for photo/video shoots and online events when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant expert experience in marketing, communication, or PR.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok).
- Basic skills in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, CapCut, or similar).
- Excellent writing and editing skills in [insert relevant language(s), e.g., Arabic and English].
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Passion for social media trends, community engagement, and storytelling.
