Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product / Brand Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for assigned pharmaceutical products. The role is responsible for driving brand growth, monitoring sales performance, ensuring achievement of sales targets, conducting market analysis, and managing promotional activities across local markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in brand positioning, forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Brand Management:
- Develop strategic guidelines for assigned products, including brand positioning, targeting, segmentation, and growth strategies.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of annual marketing plans and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor assessments, and business forecasting to identify opportunities and risks.
- Monitor brand performance and recommend corrective actions and contingency plans when required.
- Ensure achievement of sales and market share objectives across assigned markets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and contribute to the development of the 5-year business plan.
Sales Performance Management:
- Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize marketing activities and resource allocation.
- Work closely with sales teams to support product launches and promotional initiatives.
- Ensure effective execution of marketing strategies in local markets.
Events & Scientific Activities:
- Plan, organize, and manage promotional events, scientific meetings, and international congresses.
- Coordinate participation in local, regional, and international conferences.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
Budgeting & Business Planning:
- Develop and manage the departmental budget and marketing expenditure.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure activities remain within approved budget limits.
- Evaluate return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned functions and projects.
- Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify manpower and training requirements in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
- Follow up on employees’ administrative matters, including leave management and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related pharmaceutical marketing field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Pharmaceutical Brand Management, specifically within the Cardiovascular and/or Diabetes therapeutic areas.
