Job Purpose:
To support the bank’s digital transformation agenda by analyzing business requirements, designing efficient digital solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation of retail banking products and services across digital channels. The role bridges business needs with technology delivery to enhance customer experience, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Accountabilities & Key Roles :
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to design effective digital banking solutions.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for IT and vendor teams.
- Evaluate and enhance existing customer journeys to ensure a seamless digital onboarding and servicing experience.
- Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and cross-functional teams on gathering and documenting requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support testing, validation, and post-implementation reviews to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on digital banking trends, fintech innovations, and regulatory developments to recommend best practices.
- Develop process flow diagrams, business cases, BRDs, user stories, and documentation supporting new digital initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation, workflow tracking, and sprint alignment using collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira.
- Work closely and liaise between business units, IT, compliance, finance, and vendors to deliver scalable digital capabilities aligned with business strategy.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.
Experience:
- +2 years of experience as a Business Analyst within retail or digital banking.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of retail banking products and digital ecosystems.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques (e.g., BRDs, user stories, process mapping).
- Customer-centric mindset with an eye for process improvement & business re-engineering.
- Proven experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Jira, MS Visio, and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Collaborative and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
