Job Description & Summary
We are looking for a
Workshop Controller Intern to join our Service Department. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in coordinating between the workshop and service consultants, ensuring efficient job distribution, high-quality service, and customer satisfaction.
Purpose
To coordinate between workshop operations and service consultants to ensure speed, quality, and the highest standards of customer service.
Duties
- Support the execution and follow-up of repair orders according to dealer standards.
- Assist in updating the system with job statuses, additional work approvals, and vehicle progress.
- Liaise with service advisors to ensure smooth job flow and timely communication with customers.
- Monitor workshop progress, track technicians’ time records, and allocate work according to booking priorities.
- Contribute to ensuring quality standards through proper utilization of workshop equipment and facilities.
- Prepare and update reports, spot-check costing accuracy, and support in documenting job cards and approvals.
- Coordinate with technicians, service advisors, and management to address delays, quality tests, and additional tasks.
- Participate in ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workshop environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing study) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic workshop environment.
