Job Summary:
Support the payroll function by assisting in processing payroll and employee expenses in line with firm policies and country regulations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing payroll data and expense reports under the guidance of the Payroll Manager.
- Support in handling payroll-related matters for leavers, including preparing draft End of Service/Final Settlement calculations.
- Respond to basic employee queries related to payroll, expenses, and benefits.
- Ensure accurate collection and maintenance of employee bank information in the system.
- Assist in updating payroll records to reflect changes required by governmental updates and regulations.
- Process employee requests through the people systems (e.g., bank details, expense claims, payroll adjustments).
- Contribute ideas for improving payroll processes and efficiency.
- Stay informed about payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Perform other payroll-related tasks as assigned by the Payroll Manager or HR team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing, HR operations, or a related role.
- Exposure to payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or other HRIS) and employee self-service portals is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and labor laws in KSA and/or Jordan is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Good communication skills to respond to employee queries effectively.
