Job Description
The Accounting Supervisor will lead the financial accounting operations at Eastnets Jordan, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and Jordanian financial regulations. The role demands expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, advanced Excel skills and deep familiarity with local tax laws and reporting standards.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1.Oversee all accounting operations, including AR/AP, GL, payroll, and treasury.
2. Ensure accurate and timely financial closings and reporting.
3.Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Jordanian standards.
4.Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
5.Monitor cash flow, cost control and financial risk.
6.Ensure compliance with Jordanian regulations, including:
- Social Security Corporation (SSC) contributions (Employer: 14.25%, Employee: 7.5%).
- Income Tax (EIT) and Corporate Income Tax (CIR) withholding and reporting.
- Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance (standard rate: 16%).
- Jordan’s e-Invoicing system.
- Coordination with tax inspectors and external auditors.
7.Maintain internal controls and accounting policies
8.Maintain the security of the information, devices, and systems that Eastnets, and its personnel, customers, and partners use.
9.Protect Eastnet's business information and any customer, supplier, or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
10.Adhere to and comply with Eastnets internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Non-Disclosure Policy, Non-Compete Policy, Email Policy, Proprietary Rights Acknowledgement, Background check Policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.
11.Participate in the company’s wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Diploma in IFRS preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in technology or financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, dashboards, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of Jordanian tax laws and SSC regulations.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
