Scope of Position
- Responsible for data structure and ongoing analysis of Acuative Managed Services clients. It is essential for this position to work with internal and external teams to set strong foundations, which enables data to be turned into a story, that outlines trends and actions. The Reporting and Metrics Analyst provides a single point of contact to the organization for information technology related problems.
Essential Functions
- Generates and checks monthly or quarterly reporting outputs.
- Assists with monthly or quarterly client presentations to review reporting and provide recommendations, which improve the effectiveness of the department.
- Data Management o Define data output formats and export data from several internal and external sources o Clean or augment data as needed
- This role will be responsible for the execution and delivery of various Reporting & Metrics initiatives with focus and commitment to budget, schedule, benefit, and quality. This position requires IT-wide coordination and collaboration with other teams to produce successful results and effective IT operations. The position must utilize resourcefulness and assertiveness to; deliver on projects assigned, guide and influence peers and IT teams, drive risk/issue resolution and appropriate escalations, understand details and 'bigger picture' of initiatives, IT and IT/business roadmap impacts to initiatives.
- As a subject matter expert, the candidate will act in a lead role with cross-functional teams to understand and develop metrics and reporting practices based on organizational need.
- Update the internal knowledge base with issue resolution details
- Perform end-user password resets
- Provide customer reports for presented to our customers as a report card as to how we are handling their account.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a Reports Analyst role
- Experience of using Power BI & Tableau
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally
with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Good understanding of IT KPIs based on service management and business capabilities
- Good oral and written communication skills; including process documentation
- Good analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of tools, processes, and operations planning
- Good analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities
- Strong technical background with advanced personal computer skills including Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
- Customer focused
- Ability to multitask
