About The Opportunity
The Embroidery Machine Technician role ensures the efficient operation, maintenance, and performance of embroidery machines. This role is responsible for producing high-quality and intricate designs on garments and textiles that align with design specifications, production schedules, and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various embroidery machines to ensure precise and high-quality application of intricate designs and patterns on clothing.
- Create, develop, and modify embroidery designs, converting them into machine-compatible patterns while ensuring compliance with production requirements.
- Enhance and optimize the operational systems of embroidery machines to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure consistent quality output.
- Inspect and ensure final designs meet the quality specifications established by design and quality control teams.
- Collaborate effectively with design and production teams to align machine operations with production schedules and quality standards.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement solutions to prevent delays in production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols and standards to protect equipment and staff.
- Follow detailed work instructions meticulously to ensure each embroidery process is carried out with accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
- Keep accurate records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities, and provide regular reports to the direct supervisor.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to streamline production and improve quality.
- Assist in training team members on embroidery machine operation and maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical School education is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years in embroidery machine operation or a similar role.
- Strong ability to follow intricate design specifications and work with precision.
- Creativity in adding decorative touches and improving embroidery designs.
- Proficiency in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced embroidery machines.
- Quick and effective handling of machine breakdowns and technical issues.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with other departments.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality embroidery designs that meet established standards.
- Expertise in maintaining continuous, safe machine operations with minimal downtime.
