Job Summary:
The Onboarding & People Analytics Specialist is responsible for delivering a smooth, engaging onboarding experience for new hires while leveraging data and analytics to continuously improve onboarding effectiveness, employee experience, and early retention. This role bridges operational HR execution with data-driven insights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Manage end-to-end onboarding processes from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with HR, IT, Facilities, and Hiring Managers to ensure readiness on Day 1.
- Facilitate orientation sessions and ensure new hires receive consistent and high-quality onboarding experiences.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze onboarding metrics (e.g. time-to-productivity, onboarding completion rates, early attrition, engagement feedback).
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor onboarding performance and trends.
- Analyze new hire feedback and survey results to identify gaps and improvement areas.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to HR leadership and stakeholders.
- Support broader people analytics initiatives related to hiring, engagement, and retention.
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management
- Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding workflows through automation and standardization.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to align onboarding with hiring and workforce plans.
- Ensure onboarding processes are compliant with internal policies and local labor regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR onboarding, HR operations, or people analytics (preferred).
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with experience working with HR data and metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and HR systems (HRIS).
- Experience with reporting tools or dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a strong advantage.
