Key Responsibilities
- Core Accounting & Reporting: Lead day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate posting and classification in SAP Business One. Prepare financial statements in full compliance with IFRS and local accounting regulations.
- Period-End Closing: Own the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Multi-Entity Management: Manage high-volume accounting transactions across multiple business lines and legal entities while maintaining a robust internal control environment.
- Reconciliations & Master Data: Perform and oversee bank, customer, supplier, GL, and intercompany reconciliations. Review SAP master data, account mappings, and journal entries to ensure absolute data integrity.
- SAP Integrations & Tech Collaboration: Lead finance requirements for SAP Business One integrations, collaborating closely with IT/product teams and external partners. Validate API/integration transaction flows (invoices, payments, GL entries, customer/supplier data) between SAP and operational source systems.
- Process Automation & Analysis: Investigate and resolve system reconciliation gaps, drive process automation to minimize manual work, and prepare insightful financial analysis for management.
- Audit & Continuous Improvement: Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and documentation. Proactively identify process gaps to drive continuous operational improvements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional certification like CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a strong plus).
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP Business One is required.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and local accounting rules.
- Solid experience handling multi-entity, high-volume transactional environments.
- Demonstrated experience with system integrations, API transaction validation, and accounting automation.
- High analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
