About the Role:
Our client, a leading organization in the nonprofit and development sector, is seeking a Development and Fundraising Officer to support and expand its fundraising, partnership, and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, private sector partners, and individual supporters.
- Lead and support the development of high-quality proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and networks.
- Collaborate with internal teams on program design, communications, and strategic planning efforts.
- Monitor donor trends and funding landscapes to inform strategic direction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations or partnerships,
- Proven track record in securing funding and managing donor relationships.
- Strong writing skills, including experience in developing proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Familiarity with digital fundraising tools, donor databases, and online engagement platforms is an asset.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English is required.
