Role DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team in Amman. This is a dynamic, full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting international tenders and project implementation within the development cooperation sector. You will collaborate with project teams and international experts to identify suitable candidates for donor-funded technical assistance projects.
Key Responsibilities- Source, screen, and recruit qualified experts for international development cooperation projects.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates’ suitability in line with project-specific Terms of Reference.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to align recruitment efforts with client requirements.
- Format CVs and compile complete application packages, including required supporting documents (e.g. degrees, working certificates, reference letters).
- Maintain and update the expert database regularly, ensuring the availability of accurate and current profiles.
- Support the preparation of tender documentation in compliance with donor guidelines and internal quality standards.
- Monitor and interpret procurement notices and donor regulations relevant to recruitment.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process optimization related to recruitment workflows.
Qualifications- Prior experience in recruitment is not a must, but transferable skills such as confident communication, active listening, strong networking, critical thinking and good time management are a strong advantage
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Understanding of major donor regulations (e.g. EU, GIZ, KfW, AFD, World Bank) is an asset.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work effectively in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Microsoft 365 working environments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is required, fluency in French is an advantage.
