Senior Cost Accountant for a well-known company located in
KSA.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role requires a strong background in cost accounting and a solid understanding of financial principles in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

- Manage the reporting and analysis of cost performance, providing clear insights and interpretations to support decision-making.
- Handle the full cost cycle using Excel and ERP systems, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial statements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for key processes and collaborate with the finance team to cross-train and enhance team capabilities.
- Optimize and streamline monthly reporting processes to reduce month-end close time.
- Oversee complex calculations within financial reporting, ensuring they are accurate and well-understood by stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with operational teams to ensure effective cost control and resolve cost management issues proactively.
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and readiness.
- Organize and mentor the finance team to build a well-rounded, highly qualified department capable of supporting various finance functions.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for all company locations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
