Overall Objective of the Job
The Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company by handling mid-level accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience in handling daily accounting functions, while also contributing to the month-end close process and financial analysis.

Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing and follow-ups.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
Support senior accountants in preparing for audits and tax filing requirements.
Quality Control
Ensure proper documentation and accurate data entry for all financial transactions.
Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.
Maintain consistency and accuracy in financial processes in compliance with accounting standards.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare periodic financial reports (weekly, monthly) to aid decision-making.
Assist in journal entries, accruals, and the monthly closing process.
Support budget tracking and financial forecasting efforts.
Communication and Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure completeness of financial data.
Collaborate with external parties including auditors, vendors, and tax consultants as needed.
Interpret contractual financial clauses and highlight key issues to senior accountants.
